My ceramics are very popular with beginners and children, & with groups - for anywhere when the time is a bit limited and they can form the basis of a design. My students also use them for making their own mosaic designs to gift or sell.

These are too bulky for me to have ready packed up - so delivery is typically in a week.

Featuring hand painted ceramic tiles by Anne Cardwell - a bright colourful, attractive mosaic. Completely unique - you can't buy this anywhere else! It is a perfect introduction to this ancient yet contemporary art and it could also be a lovely gift for a creative friend.

A stylish project to make at home, everything you need is included, (select nippers at subsidised price if you need them). These tiles provided in 2 colour ways are very soft and can be easily nipped with any conventional nippers, as well as the tiny nippers which you can choose as an option.

Plenty of extra tiles are allowed for practicing and errors.

For a beginner I would estimate this kit would take 60- 90 minutes to complete.
The project does not need grouted.

The kits are created by Anne Cardwell, author of Stylish Mosaics and mosaic art teacher since 2002. A access code for this will be sent by email.

Base board, 100 x 100 x 3mm laser cut mdf base (attractive dark edging)
Adhesive (good quality PVA)
Ceramic design/s (robin)
Background tiles in a choice 2 colour ways as shown.

A pair nippers is not included and they are essential. For this project and these soft tiles the small nippers are adequate. Please use with care and are not suitable for young children. Older children might use them with supervision. If you have sidebiters or wheeled nippers they are also perfect.

SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES with supervision. (I would recommend secondary school age upwards.)

Suitable for placing indoors only. Do not grout, tiles are absorbent.

The ceramics are hand painted and fired, therefore may vary a little from the illustration. (Only in a good way!)
